Expect the unexpected. I should have learned that by now, with all the unexpected twists and turns in my young life, but it would seem that I haven't. After defeating Yu Yevon and bringing a perpetual Calm to Spira, I should have known my adventure would not end there. There was no way that everything could end so nicely, and certainly no way that I would be allowed to remain where I was; happy and with my friends.

Immediately after our victory, I discovered that I was not real. I was but a part of a dream, pulled out of my dream-like existence to help Yuna and her party. I began to fade in front of my friends, the same friends who had gone through hell and back with me.

Now... now I am alone in an endless world of darkness.

So I suppose this is goodbye... Spira... goodbye Yuna...
